Keep the unit economics of your business in mind by taking advantage of rule restrictions to protect your profits while growing your brand.

Point Earning: Reward customers for points when their order status is updated to “paid”. Cancel points when their order status is updated to “canceled”, “refunded”, “voided”, “partially refunded”, or “returned”.
Point Balances: For one-time earning rules, such as subscribing to your newsletter, set a higher point balance. For recurring earning rules, such as making a purchase, set a lower point balance.
Point Expiry: Set points to expire after 365 days of customer inactivity if you have a high purchase frequency. Set points to expire after 730 days of customer inactivity if you have a lower purchase frequency.
Reminder Emails: Email your customers 30 days and 7 days prior to points expiration to remind them to use their points before they expire.
